Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Quality Manager for a corrugated facility in Asheboro, NC. The role partners with operations, commercial teams, and customers to ensure delivery of high‑quality products and services.

You will lead quality improvements, manage data reporting, and coach teams to sustain compliance with quality systems and safety standards. The position sits on the plant leadership team and requires hands-on leadership in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in quality and process-improvement initiatives in industrial settings.
• Experience coaching and mentoring in a professional environment.
• Experience maintaining customer relations through written and verbal follow-up, including onsite visits.
• Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance process control, quality, yields, and reduce defects.
• Lead quality process improvements and training initiatives for employees.
• Interface with customers and vendors to ensure quality expectations and material specs are met.
• Facilitate team meetings to improve the quality process and champion Product Stewardship Food Safety.
• Manage Monthly Quality Report for Leadership Team and ensure equipment compliance measurement.
• Analyze and report quality performance data to leadership and drive improvement activities.
• Administer plant data collection systems and customer complaint processes.
