Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $62,000.00/yr

Quality Manager / CMM Operator

We are currently seeking candidates with Quality Assurance and CMM experience for a Tool and Die Manufacturing Company in Uniontown.

In this position you will be responsible for plant quality standards within an ISO 9001 environment, perform first article & in-process plant inspections, write in-process inspection plans, perform capability studies, PPAP studies and collect SPC data as required.

The candidate must have a full understanding of PC-DMIS operating system, CMM set up, operation and be able to develop part fixture methods.

Hours:

• 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm + overtime as needed

Pay:

• $25.00-$29.00/hr Based on Experience

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CMM equipment
• Utilize PC-DMIS operating system for CMM equipment
• Run inspection programs and measure parts using CMMs
• Perform first article and in-process plant inspections
• Write in-process inspection plans
• Perform capability studies, PPAP studies and collect SPC data
• Work closely with outside customer representatives and Engineering on new tooling projects
• Work with Plant Supervisors to ensure plant quality objectives are met & maintained
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on CMM equipment

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of experience as a CMM operator
• Ability to set up and operate CMM equipment
• Full understanding of PC-DMIS operating system is required
• Understanding of GD&T
• Understanding of ISO 9001 standards
