Job summary

Shape Corp. is seeking a Quality Manager at its Trenton, Ohio facility. You will lead the quality function, implement corporate quality systems, and respond to customer and supplier concerns in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires managing audits, developing documentation for APQP/PPAP/FMEA, and driving continuous improvement to meet IATF 16949 standards while interfacing with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Requires strong quality management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating and leading audits (internal, supplier, customer).
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement using statistical tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation for APQP, PPAP and FMEA.
• Maintain documents and retrievability per Shape Corp specs.
• Interface with customers/suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Lead quality systems development to meet IATF 16949 and other standards.
• Lead containment and problem solving for production quality issues.
• Maintain control plans, work and gage instructions; provide operator training.
• Coordinate plant audits and customer/supplier assessments.
• Support launch teams with PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA, etc.
