This role ensures IATF 16949 compliance, designs quality systems and audits, and leads a 10-member quality team. Strong communication with customers and cross-functional teams is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Job description

East TN, high-volume manufacturing plant has immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. Ideal candidate will have BS degree (in a technical discipline) along with at least 5+ years prior experience in a Quality Manager role.

Experience in Automotive Quality systems is ideal. The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure IATF 16949 compliance, and will also design Quality systems and product audits. Will lead a 10-member Quality team.

This is a highly visible role reporting to the Plant Manager. Must have strong communication skills as this role involves regular interaction with customers. Knowledge of 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis is highly important.

This is a fast-paced environment where Quality is held to a high-standard. The Quality Assurance Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team.
