Align Aerospace LLC is seeking a Quality Manager to lead our Quality Management System, drive compliance with AS9100/AS9120 and ISO 9001, and oversee inspections, audits, and corrective actions. The role emphasizes supplier quality, data-driven improvements, and building a high-performing quality team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive aerospace quality experience, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver quality excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experienced in leading aerospace quality systems and programs.
• Proficient in AS9100/AS9120 and ISO 9001 with audit experience.
• Strong CAPA, 8D, FMEA, Fishbone, and 5-Why root cause tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the QMS.
• Oversee inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Drive supplier quality and quality team performance.
• Champion quality metrics, data analysis, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, Compliance, HR and Leadership.
• Coach and develop a high-performing quality team.
• Partner with customers and suppliers to maintain confidence and drive results.

Great Pay!

• Starting Salary: $95,000+ per year DOE
• Annual Bonus Opportunity: $15,000

What You'll Do

• As our Quality Manager, you'll be the driving force behind quality excellence by:
• Leading and continuously improving our AS9100/AS9120 and ISO-based Quality Management System
• Managing quality operations including receiving, source, delegated, first article, and final inspections
• Driving root cause investigations and corrective action programs using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, Fishbone, and 5-Why
• Leading customer, supplier, certification, and internal audits
• Championing quality metrics, data analysis, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, Compliance, HR, and Executive Leadership
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing quality team
• Serving as a trusted partner to customers and suppliers to maintain confidence and drive results

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Extensive experience managing aerospace quality systems

Strong Working Knowledge Of

• AS9100/ AS9120

• Customer and contractual quality requirements
• Supplier Quality Management
• Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Root Cause Analysis
• First Article Inspection (AS9102)
• Product Traceability
• Aerospace Hardware & Documentation Requirements

The ideal person will have demonstrated experience leading audits, corrective actions, and compliance initiatives with a strong understanding of:

• GD&T
• Blueprint Reading
• Technical Specifications
• Inspection Processes
• Calibration ProgramsQuality Metrics & KPIs
• Experience leading teams, training and coaching employees, all while driving accountability and performance to new heights.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
