Job summary

A-1 Machining Company in the United States seeks a quality leader to establish and direct the company's quality control program, ensuring products meet specifications and customer expectations.

You will oversee audits, manage processes, mentor inspectors, and coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers and customers to resolve nonconformances and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a quality role.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of various mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerances

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent knowledge of quality control principles
• Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100 and or NADCAP quality programs
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication abilities
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 years' experience working in a quality role
