Job summary

ArtiFlex Manufacturing seeks a detail-oriented Quality Manager to ensure manufacturing operations meet quality and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality control, GD&T interpretation, data analysis, and a track record of improving processes in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Manager or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Experience reporting on key quality control parameters.
  • Excellent numerical and data analysis skills.
  • Attention to detail with a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control systems and standards.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance.
  • Inspect materials, equipment, processes, and products for quality.
  • Interpret GD&T tolerances and apply them to equipment and processes.
  • Direct and coordinate the quality program.
  • Identify training needs to ensure understanding of quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet quality standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and report findings with improvements.
  • Review customer requirements to ensure they are met.
  • Report quality issues and trends to management.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards.
  • Communicate quality standards to all team members.
  • Maintain records of quality reports and statistics.
  • Lead certification and surveillance audits (AS9100, NADCAP).

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Manager to ensure the manufacturing operations run smoothly and consistently generates a suitable output of products that meet quality and efficiency standards. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of quality control procedures and possesses a keen eye for detail.

This position is first (1 st ) shift and is located at our Aerospace, Defense & Prototype facility in Sterling Heights Michigan.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing quality control systems and standards.
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
  • Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Experience with GD&T, ability to interpret and determine tolerances for equipment & processes.
  • Directing and coordinating the company’s quality control program.
  • Identifying and implementing training needs for the team to ensure understanding of quality standards and goals.
  • Working with internal teams to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Conducting internal audits, creating findings reports and recommending improvements.
  • Reviewing customer requirements and ensuring they are met.
  • Reporting to management on quality issues and trends.
  • Driving and promoting a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Ensuring all legal standards are met.
  • Communicating quality standards to each team member.
  • Maintaining records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.
  • Leading certification and surveillance audits (i.e. AS9100, NADCAP).
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Manager or relevant role
  • Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
  • Experience in reporting on key quality control parameters
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
