Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality control program, ensuring continuous production of products that meet established standards. You will develop statistical data, set quality objectives, and supervise inspection and testing teams to maintain high reliability and performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience (or 10 years of experience) and strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine current standards and reliability.
• Formulate and maintain quality objectives and coordinate with production to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Direct inspection and testing staff to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Develop and implement monitoring methods and records to inform management of status.
• Plan, promote, and organize training related to product quality and reliability.
• Analyze and resolve problems or assist employees in solving issues.
• Recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate performance, and manage promotions or transfers.
• Interpret and enforce company policy among employees.
• Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality.
• Support and create effective teams and environments; align with organizational strategy.
• Contribute to budgeting, scheduling, and planning for the unit/department.
• Meet or exceed quality standards and minimize error rates.
• Participate in continuous improvement and adopt new ideas.
• Provide and receive feedback effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
