Qualifications

• Proficiency with GD&T, CMM inspection, and metrology tools.
• Experience leading CAPA and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with FAI documentation and customer QA requirements.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Quality; CQE or CQM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS to ensure AS9100 compliance.
• Lead internal audits, inspections, and CAPA processes for improvement.
• Oversee first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations to resolve quality issues.
• Manage customer quality complaints and supplier quality interfaces.
• Monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and trend analysis for improvements.
• Ensure adherence to customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor shop floor personnel on quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with AS9100 industry standards
• Lead internal audits, inspections, and corrective action processes (CAPA) to drive continuous improvement
• Oversee first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product quality checks
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to resolve quality issues and reduce defects
• Manage customer quality complaints.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Train and mentor shop floor personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of quality management experience in a machining, manufacturing, ideally in a precision parts environment
• Strong knowledge of QMS standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949
• Proficiency with GD&T, CMM inspection, and metrology tools
• Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes
• Familiarity with customer quality requirements and first article inspection (FAI) documentation
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic shop environment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field preferred; CQE or CQM certification a plus
