Consolidated Precision Products Corp. is seeking a Quality Manager - Aerospace to lead the QA program and integrate quality across manufacturing to deliver defect-free aerospace components.

The role requires driving a robust QMS, coordinating with customers, and guiding the QA team toward excellence. The position offers a strong compensation package, a focus on career advancement, and a suite of benefits designed to support employee growth within CPP.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years previous experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role; aerospace experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt and ASQ Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred.
• Attention to detail; ability to communicate at all levels; MS Office proficiency; ISO/AS9100/Nadcap knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Establish, implement and maintain processes and practices within the quality management system that ensure outputs meet intended requirements.
• Report on QMS performance to top management and identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote a customer-focused orientation within the organization.
• Maintain integrity of the quality management system during changes and improvements.
• Develop and manage policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal/external quality requirements.
• Ensure awareness and conformity to ISO/AS9100, Nadcap, and customer requirements.
• Ensure employees obtain required QA training and certifications.
• Collaborate with key customers on quality issues and audits as needed.
• Provide leadership for the QA department and report to the Executive team.
• Pursue additional certifications and credentials as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure safety/compliance.

SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Manager is Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining processes and practices within the quality management system that help the organization achieve the highest quality standards possible and minimize product defects. This role is also integrates all quality connected functions into a Quality System, designed to assist manufacturing operations in providing quality products that fulfill customer needs at a minimum cost. The Manager of Qualtiy Assurance also develops, communicates and coordinates the execution of all Company quality programs along with providing leadership to the Quality Assurance department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining processes and practices within the quality management system that help the organization ensure that the processes are delivering their intended outputs
• Report on the performance of the quality management system and opportunities for improvement to top management
• Promote the organization to be customer focused
• Ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented
• Develop and manage implementation of all policies, procedures and practices to ensure organizational compliance with all internal and external (customer and government) quality requirements and specifications
• Responsible for ensuring that the organization is aware of and conforms to AS 9100, ISO, Nadcap, and customer requirements
• Ensure that appropriate employees obtain the required training and certification in all applicable quality assurance programs
• Work directly with key customers when quality issues arise and as audits or certifications are required
• Provide leadership for the Quality Assurance department
• Report the performance of the quality management system, including any need for improvement, to the Executive team
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
• Ability to work at the CPP Syracuse Facility

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required
• Experience: 8+ years previous experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role required for this position, previous aerospace experience strongly preferred
• Certifications/Licenses: Six Sigma Black belt, ASQ, Lean Six Sigma certifications strongly preferred
• Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Attention to detail, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization & with outside customers, working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), ability to work with others through complex situations, working knowledge of ISO/AS9100/Nadcap and customer requirements
