Job summary

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Quality Manager in Summerville, SC. The role drives and maintains the plant's quality program, ensures compliance with quality and food safety standards, and leads corrective actions.

It requires coordinating with Production and Maintenance, facilitating the RCA process, and guiding staff across shifts to uphold product quality. The position offers robust benefits and the opportunity to impact operations across three shifts.

Qualifications

• Drives and maintains plant quality program and compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Investigates internal and external customer complaints and facilitates the RCA process including follow up and auditing.
• Monitors trends and recommends corrective measures in conjunction with providing training on quality work instructions and procedures as well as auditing for effectiveness.
• Provides leadership and direction to direct reports in his/her area of responsibility.
• Works with Production and Maintenance to assure quality product by implementing effective process control and sampling methods in conjunction with effective audit criteria.
