A critical technical manager within the Nidec Automation Quality team responsible for motors, motor gearbox assemblies, machining, testing, measurement systems, electronics drives and component quality, reliability, cost reduction and warranty mitigation. This role supports new product development and qualification, safe launch processes, product transfers, product application engineering development, sustaining quality problem solving, and customer and plant operation quality process controls. The position also provides quality direction and support to procurement to help select, qualify, and develop new suppliers to manufacture and measure product materials and parts. Finally, this role listens and responds to the voice of external and internal customers to manage improvement projects and metrics.
