Job summary

Trinity Search Group is seeking a Quality Manager for a leading construction group captive insurer, focusing on advisory leadership across multiple contractor quality programs.

The role centers on MEP systems, developing and overseeing inspection and test plans, and steering commissioning and turnover activities to elevate project outcomes within a fast-paced commercial environment.

Qualifications

• College degree in construction, engineering or architecture.
• ASQ CCQM, CMQ/OE or CSSYB/CSSGB/CSSBB certifications (preferred).
• US Army Corps of Engineers CQM for Contractors Certificate.
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in construction with 5-7 years in Quality Management, Commissioning, or Operational Excellence.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems.
• Experience developing and overseeing ITPs and verifying installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Advises and leads multiple contractors on quality programs across projects.
• Develops and oversees inspection and test plans (ITPs) and related QA processes.
• Guides commissioning and turnover activities to ensure quality outcomes.

Position Description

This is an advisory role and leadership position impacting, influencing, and assisting with multiple contractors overall Quality programs.

Due to growth, they are looking to bring on Quality Manager with a focused background in MEP systems. Below are the qualifications

Qualifications

• College degree required. Preferably in construction, engineering or architecture discipline.

Desired certifications:

• ASQ Certified Construction Quality Manager (CCQM)
• ASQ Certified Manager Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
• ASQ Six Sigma Yellow Belt (CSSYB), Green Belt (CSSGB), or Black Belt (CSSBB)
• U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certificate
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in construction with 5-7 years minimum in Quality Management, Commissioning, and/or Operational Excellence roles.
• A Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems.
• Develop and oversee Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Experience with verification of installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
