Job summary

Saft America, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager in Milwaukee, WI to ensure products, systems, and deliverables meet customer specs, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.

You will lead quality planning, risk management (FMEA), and customer claim resolution while applying SPC and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement. The role serves as the primary quality representative for projects, guiding inspections, audits, and documentation management and contributing to ISO 9001

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration or related field
  • 5+ years quality experience preferred
  • ISO/ASQ Certification experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Data analysis, statistical aptitude and problem solving skills
  • Good people skills
  • Highly conscientious and diligent

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects quality deliverables, control plan, process capabilities, PPAP in accordance to project DRL
  • Represent quality for important 8D/problem solving topics
  • Lead project documentation management
  • Lead and pilot project site inspections, audits and document management
  • Contribute to achieving QMS certification to ISO9001; lead customer audit preparation
  • Manage qualification plans for product and process changes

All About You

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products, systems, and project deliverables meet customer specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable regulatory standards through the application of industry best practices and robust quality management processes. This role serves as the primary Quality representative for assigned projects, leading quality planning, risk management activities including FMEAs, and customer claim resolution. The position utilizes Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive product quality, process effectiveness, and operational excellence.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Administration or related field
  • 5+ years quality experience preferred
  • ISO/ASQ Certification experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Data analysis, statistical aptitude and problem solving skills.
  • Good people skills.
  • Highly conscientious and diligent.
Responsibilities
