Job summary

W3Global is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to lead the quality department in a small rubber and plastics molding facility in Ohio. The role focuses on ISO-9000 and IATF quality systems, GD&T blueprint reading, and close collaboration with customers and suppliers.

You will manage a small team, create and maintain QA processes, and develop Process Flows, FMEA and Control Plans to ensure top quality across rubber, plastic and silicone injection. This is an in-person, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing quality experience required.
• Experience with ISO 9000 series and IATF quality systems.
• Proficient in reading blueprints with GD&T.
• Experience with rubber, plastic and silicone injection molding.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team.
• Strong communication with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to create and maintain QA processes and procedures.
• Ability to develop Process Flows, FMEA and Control Plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality department and ensure ongoing compliance with SOPs.
• Create and maintain QA processes and procedures across the facility.
• Develop Process Flows, FMEA and Control Plans for products.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Oversee and develop a small QA team.
• Organize and maintain the quality department.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing.

• Hands on working experience
• ISO-9000 and IATF quality system
• Blue-print reading including GD&T
• Experience with Rubber, Plastic and Silicone Injection
• Managing a small group of people
• Communicating with customers and suppliers
• Creating and maintaining quality assurance processes and procedures
• Creating Process Flow, FMEA and Control Plans
• Organizing and maintaining a quality department
