Job summary

Justrite Safety Group is seeking a Quality Manager to lead QA activities at its Wellsburg, WV site. The role focuses on sustaining ISO 9001, embedding RCCA methods, and driving continuous improvement across production, engineering, and supply chain.

The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of QE experience, strong communication, and a Lean mindset to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements include: 10–15 years of QE experience in metal fabrication/welding manufacturing.
  • Associates in Engineering Technology or equivalent; BS Engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in formal quality systems.
  • Proficient RCCA/A3/8D methodologies for continuous improvement.
  • Experience developing preventative quality processes in lean manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; able to interact from shop floor to leadership.
  • MS Office suite; Power BI experience a plus.
  • ERP experience preferred; ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Compare production drawings to in‑production parts and advise on discrepancies.
  • Use quality inspection tools to validate dimensions.
  • Support the QA manual and QA documentation development.
  • Coordinate with external inspectors (FM/UL/TUV) for compliance.
  • Maintain ISO 9001 and other certifications.
  • Create/maintain work instructions for quality processes.
  • Develop and maintain a gage calibration system.
  • Work with Customer Service on RCCA responses to complaints.
  • Review supplier PPAP submissions for new or revised parts.
  • Manage engineering change requests to resolve quality issues.
  • Lead/supervise QA Specialists.

The Contribution You\’ll bring to this Role:

We are looking for a Quality Manager that is experienced, detail-oriented to join our growing team at Eagle Manufacturing in Wellsburg, WV. This position will play a key role in overall success of our organization. This position reports to the Operations Manager but will be expected to work in a team environment with Engineering, Sales, Production, Accounting, Inventory Control and Safety. Oversees the product quality currently being manufactured on the production floor.

What You\’ll Do at Justrite:
  • Will be required to compare production drawings to parts in production and advise on discrepancies/possible causes.
  • Functional experience using common quality inspection tools to validate dimensions.
  • Responsible for supporting the development of the Quality Assurance (QA) manual and other levels of documentation defining the QA system.
  • Working with third party/state inspectors like FM/UL/TUV to ensure that Justrite maintain compliance to the required manufacturing standards.
  • Maintain and advance certifications such as ISO 9001.
  • Creating and maintaining work instructions specifically for the quality processes.
  • Help develop and maintain an active gage calibration system.
  • Work with Customer Service to perform RCCA responses to selected customer complaints.
  • Manage engineering deviations requests to support manufacturing along with helping identify and implement permanent solutions.
  • Work on RCCA with supplier quality issues identified through the manufacturing process or sample submissions. This includes direct communication with Purchasing and the supplier.
  • Review and approve Supplier PPAP submissions on new or revised purchased parts
  • Initiate and manage requests for engineering changes to resolve quality issues.
  • Supervise/manage/develop QA Specialist.
Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:

  • 10-15 yrs. experience as a QE in a metal fabrication/welding manufacturing business required.
  • Associates in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience required. A Bachelor of Science Engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in working within a formal quality system required.
  • Functional experience with RCCA/A3/8D/etc. methodologies to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Experience developing preventative quality processes within a lean mfg. environment.
  • Strong sense of curiosity with a proactive entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Power BI experience would be considered a plus.
  • Strong communication skills from the shop floor to upper management.
  • Ability to work in noisy environments with hearing protection
  • ERP system experience preferred.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members at all time
  • Ability to work in both a manufacturing office and shop floor environment daily.
  • Wear all required PPE including: steel toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
Compensation:

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
