Gallagher Fluid Seals, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee all aspects of quality management and regulatory compliance. The role involves maintaining the QMS, audits, and driving continuous improvement across production, engineering, and supply chain.

The candidate will ensure ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance, manage non-conformances, and stay current with RoHS/REACH regulations while providing quality metrics to senior leadership.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 7–10 years in quality management with at least 3 in leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in manufacturing/industrial sector with precision components.
  • Proven track record of quality improvements with measurable results.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or CQE preferred.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and implement QA policies to ensure regulatory compliance.

Description
Overall Purpose

The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management and compliance. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, managing audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Description of Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) that promotes a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain current ISO certification and pursue additional certifications as needed for business growth
  • Work proactively to manage projects that address business concerns ahead of audit finding o Actively identify and resolve quality management tasks that create bottlenecks in the organization
  • Manage internal audit program and conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop framework for operator managed quality management execution
  • Collaborate with sites to develop continuous improvement system and problem solving processes o Maintain Continuous improvement savings project log
  • Teach and train resources on lean methodology and six sigma problem solving.
  • Manage, process and disposition all non-conforming material and process issues including customer complaints via the NCR database in Salesforce Case module.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, trends, and customer feedback to drive process improvements and achieve quality objectives.
  • Manage supplier quality management programs to ensure that suppliers meet quality requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters, including quality audits and supplier qualifications.
  • Research and keep up-to-date with legislative changes and updates to RoHS, REACH, DFAR etc. plus other materials related regulations.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality management.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, quality assurance practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
  • Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, preferably within a company producing precision components or industrial products.
  • Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, CQE) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
