Pro Staff is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead a ~38-person quality organization in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting. This high-impact role focuses on driving operational performance, mentoring teams, and shaping quality strategy.

You will oversee Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Quality Systems, Metrology, Validation, and Production Quality, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO standards while delivering improvements in key quality metrics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years automotive quality experience.
• 2+ years quality management or leadership experience.
• Strong OEM or Tier 1 automotive manufacturing background.
• Experience with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and quality systems.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CQE, or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop quality teams while fostering a proactive quality culture.
• Drive improvements in first-pass yield, scrap reduction, defect prevention, and overall product quality.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FTA, and Pareto Analysis.
• Support production operations through active floor presence and problem-solving leadership.
• Manage customer quality concerns, audits, containment activities, and corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and customer requirements.
• Provide leadership for APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and new product launches.
• Oversee Supplier Quality, Metrology, and Validation functions.

Are you a hands-on quality leader with a passion for continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence? We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead a team of approximately 38 professionals across Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Quality Systems, Metrology, Validation, and Production Quality. This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to shape quality strategy, mentor teams, and drive operational performance within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
