Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC and RCA techniques.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with testing equipment and reading technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Experience implementing ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • MS Office tools such as SharePoint, Excel, Forms.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality control procedures for switchboards during design, production, and final inspection.
  • Implement the ISO‑9001 system for the company.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to ensure standards compliance.
  • Analyze product defects and work with teams to resolve issues.
  • Monitor and improve manufacturing processes for reliability and efficiency.
  • Review drawings and specs to verify quality requirements.
  • Perform RCA and CAPA for non‑conformances.
  • Manage nonconforming materials (NCMR) and corrective actions (CAR).
  • Maintain quality documentation, reports, and compliance records.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure component quality.
  • Support audits and provide training on quality standards.

Job description

  • Maintain quality control procedures for switchboards during design, production, and final inspection.
  • Implement the company ISO-9001 system
  • Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Analyze product defects and work with manufacturing and design teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product reliability and efficiency.
  • Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) for non-conformances and defects.
  • Manage NCMR’s (nonconforming material) and CAR’s (corrective action report)
  • Maintain quality documentation, reports, and compliance records.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of components used in switchboards.
  • Support internal and external audits to meet regulatory and customer standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to production teams on quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Must possess a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer or a related field.
  • Experience in quality assurance within sheet metal, copper and switchboard manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in quality tools like Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with testing equipment and methodologies for industrial switchboards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with implementing ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite (SharePoint, Excel, Forms, etc.)
Preferred Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering or electrical manufacturing.
  • Certification in quality engineering (e.g., ASQ CQE) is a plus.
