Job summary

Legend Brands is seeking a Quality Manager to lead a team of quality professionals and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle in our Burlington, WA facility.

You will develop KPI dashboards, implement corrective actions, train staff on quality standards, and collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement to ensure regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering or related field is required.
  • 10 years of progressive Quality department role experience.
  • 5 years of Quality Management experience.
  • 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Yellow belt in Six Sigma training.
  • 5 years of SolidWorks experience or experience with comparable engineering software.
  • Practical working knowledge of quality management systems.
  • Practical working knowledge of FMEA process.
  • Skill in creating action plans to address identified issues.
  • PMI Certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrating self-confidence in making decisions.
  • Coaching, leading, and mentoring others.
  • Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills.
  • Coping with pressures and setbacks - adaptable and able to respond to change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals

  • Conduct training sessions for employees on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams such as production, engineering, and procurement to integrate quality standards throughout the product lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain KPI's to determine failure trends and corrective actions as needed
  • Maintain documentation and oversee audits
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of equipment and processes
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and audits to identify defects and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Investigate customer complaints, implement corrective actions, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Implement solutions to enhance product and process quality
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Hiring Range:

Between $120,000 - $138,000/year
