RTX is offering a Quality Management System Co-Op onsite in the US. You will gain hands-on experience maintaining and improving our QMS, conducting audits, and supporting compliance standards in a dynamic environment.

You will work on meaningful projects that impact quality and excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in RCCA activities and training material development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree and enrolled through the co-op duration.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Interest in Quality Management Systems (QMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and executing QMS and special process audits.
• Observe third-party audits as an observer.
• Support the implementation of AS13100 standards and procedure development.
• Prepare and maintain QMS documentation and training materials.
• Contribute to RCCA activities including data management and corrective actions.
• Support QAT activities such as human factor investigations and floor walks.
• Assist in developing document review processes and ballot tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

Join our team as a Quality Management System Co-Op and gain hands-on experience in maintaining and improving our Quality Management Systems (QMS). This onsite co-op opportunity will provide you with valuable exposure to quality processes, audits, and compliance standards in a dynamic and innovative environment. You will work on meaningful projects that directly impact our organization’s commitment to quality and excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation and execution of Quality Management System (QMS) and special process audits, including conducting preparatory audits and following up on open actions.
• Participating in third-party audits as an observer.
• Supporting the implementation of AS13100 standards, including auditing and assisting with procedure development.
• Preparing and maintaining Quality systems documentation, processes, and training materials.
• Contributing to Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, including database management, corrective action development, and follow-up.
• Supporting Quality Assurance Team (QAT) activities such as human factor investigations, process walks, and floor sweeps.
• Assisting in the development of systems to manage document review processes, ballot and gap analysis tracking, and alignment of balloted changes within local procedures.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline and actively enrolled through the duration of the co-op.
• Experience with basic Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and related processes.
• Exposure to Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and tools such as ETQ or similar systems.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
