Job summary

CHG Healthcare in Salt Lake City is seeking a Quality Management Associate Manager to apply nursing experience to evaluate providers’ clinical qualifications, assess diverse practice settings, and conduct clinical event investigations. You will help ensure high standards of patient care in a collaborative team.

Key duties include reviewing credentialing information, conducting clinical event reviews, researching background checks and regulatory standards, and developing performance improvement

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse degree.
• Five years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Exposure to the Joint Commission, NCQA, URAC or other regulatory accreditation survey process.
• Experience drafting written correspondence to professionals (e.g., healthcare practitioners, administrators and attorneys).
• Excels at attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review credentialing information of healthcare providers that have affirmative responses on their application.
• Conduct clinical event reviews that involve healthcare providers and client healthcare facilities.
• Research questions/regulatory standards related to criminal background checks and drug screening.
• Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
