Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the annual Enterprise Quality Plan, work plan and related improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain schedules, priorities, assignments and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor progress and proactively follow up on outstanding quality commitments.
  • Support cross-functional quality and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Support the Director of Internal Growth & Retention and Integrator in executing enterprise quality priorities.
  • Coordinate the Quality Management Committee and other governance meetings.
  • Prepare agendas, reports, meeting materials and minutes.
  • Maintain committee decisions, records and historical documentation.
  • Track action items, responsible owners and due dates through completion.
  • Compile, validate and maintain enterprise quality measures, Scorecards and dashboards.
  • Monitor performance indicators and identify trends, risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate dashboard results into clear insights for leaders.
  • Prepare recurring quality reports and support development of Annual Quality Plan and Annual Quality Report.
  • Ensure quality information is accurate, timely and useful for decision-making.
  • Maintain quality plans, regulatory records and audit-supporting documentation.
  • Maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan.
  • Coordinate documentation for audits, accreditation, contracts and regulatory reviews.
  • Keep quality program records organized, current, accessible and audit-ready.
  • Coordinate intake, tracking and documentation of appeals, complaints, grievances and FWA referrals.
  • Monitor required timelines, communications and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare documentation for committee review, investigation and resolution.
  • Maintain complete records and protect confidential information.
  • Maintain enterprise policies, procedures, standards and related controlled documents.
  • Coordinate review, revision and approval workflows.

As BPA Health’s Quality Management Coordinator, you will help connect our goals, quality measures and day-to-day work so we can better understand our impact and identify opportunities to improve.

Position Summary

The Quality Management Coordinator provides coordination and operational support for BPA Health’s enterprise-wide Quality Management Program. Reporting to and working under the direction of the Director of Internal Growth & Retention, this position supports quality priorities established by leadership and aligned with organizational goals.

The position coordinates quality governance activities, quality measurement and reporting, policy and document control, regulatory documentation, and appeals, complaints and fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) processes. Working across departments, the coordinator maintains schedules, documentation, dashboards and follow-up activities to help ensure quality work remains organized, accurate and on track. This role also supports the review of performance data by identifying trends, risks and potential improvement opportunities for leadership’s consideration.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, coordination-focused position. It supports the execution of enterprise quality priorities but does not independently establish quality strategy or manage the quality responsibilities assigned to individual departments.

Essential Functions and Key Outcomes
Enterprise Quality Program Coordination
  • Coordinate the annual Enterprise Quality Plan, work plan and related improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain schedules, priorities, assignments and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor progress and proactively follow up on outstanding quality commitments.
  • Support cross-functional quality and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Support the Director of Internal Growth & Retention and Integrator in executing enterprise quality priorities.
Quality Governance and Committee Administration
  • Coordinate the Quality Management Committee and other assigned governance meetings.
  • Prepare agendas, reports, meeting materials and minutes.
  • Maintain committee decisions, records and historical documentation.
  • Track action items, responsible owners and due dates through completion.
Quality Measurement, Dashboards and Insights
  • Compile, validate and maintain enterprise quality measures, Scorecards and dashboards.
  • Monitor performance indicators and identify trends, risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate dashboard results into clear insights that help leaders understand organizational performance and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Prepare recurring quality reports and support development of the Annual Quality Plan and Annual Quality Report.

Regulatory and Quality Documentation
  • Maintain quality plans, regulatory records and audit-supporting documentation.

Requirements
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, quality management, public health, business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Experience
  • Two or more years of experience in healthcare quality management support, performance improvement, compliance or administration.
  • Experience measuring and reporting quality, including maintaining dashboards, interpreting performance indicators and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives with an enterprise-wide quality mindset.
  • Behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred.
