Job Description:

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Quality Maintenance Technician A320 Flightline Avionics to join our Quality Department based in Mobile, AL.

The Quality Maintenance Technician is responsible for planning, executing, and verifying the Quality activities in the Flightline phase, from the milestone FOT in the FAL to final delivery to the customer. Responsibilities include demonstrating aircraft system integrity and conformity according to design specifications by verifying ground test instructions (GTI).

Your Challenges:
  • Release aircraft for all ground and flight operations, including engine run-up inspections and checks under EASA and FAA regulations.
  • Perform aircraft testing, evaluate results, and document discrepancies.
  • Support troubleshooting of aircraft avionic systems.
  • Support improvement initiatives and collaborate with engineering, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ensure aircraft conformity as a Quality Inspector with final signature authority.
  • Perform aircraft ground checks and document nonconformities; prepare for and support ground tests.
  • Maintain Part 145 Work Package and perform Release to Service.
Your Boarding Pass:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Airbus A320 T1 & T2 training.
  • 3+ years of Quality Inspection experience on A320 aircraft.
  • Experience in troubleshooting avionic, airframe, or powerplant systems.
  • Flightline experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of drawing systems, inspection plans, and principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of A320 family avionic systems.
Licensure/Certifications:
  • FAA A&P or EASA Part 66 license preferred or substantial aircraft maintenance experience.
Physical Requirements:

Visual, hearing, speaking, equipment operation, carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, sitting, squatting/kneeling, standing, travel, walking, and other physical activities as described.
