Job summary

Staffmark in Florence, KY is seeking a Quality Machine Operator to inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment and document inspection results to support corrective actions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years of machinery experience, with Gravure Machinist knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify gravure presses and related equipment for compliance with statutory and contractual quality requirements.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure the machine meets design and performance specifications before delivery and installation.
• Conduct laboratory testing and visual inspections of printed outputs for colour accuracy, registration, and defect detection.
• Provide certification that the gravure machinery and its output meet agreed quality standards.
• Offer technical inspection for components such as plate cylinders, inking systems, and drying units.
