Job summary

Staffmark Group in Florence, KY is hiring a Gravure Machinist to turn raw material into precise prints. You will read blueprints, run exact cuts, inspect results, and document quality checks on a 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in printing, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of machinery, manufacturing, or industrial equipment experience required.
• Knowledge of gravure printing processes, quality standards, and inspection procedures is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect gravure presses and related equipment to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.
• Perform FAT and SAT to verify equipment performance and functionality.
• Conduct visual and laboratory inspections of printed materials for color accuracy, registration, print quality, and defect detection.
• Document inspection results and certify equipment and printed products meet customer and company quality requirements.
• Evaluate and inspect key press components, including plate cylinders, inking systems, and drying units.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
