Job summary

NCSL International in Dublin, Ohio is seeking a Quality & Continuous Improvement Assistant on the 2nd shift to support the quality management system, perform inspections, and drive Lean initiatives with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.

The role requires attention to detail and a data-driven mindset, with a schedule of 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday - Friday, overtime as needed plus a $1 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year manufacturing quality experience preferred.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, or similar inspection tools.
• Familiarity with quality systems and LEAN improvement concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections per customer specs.
• Conduct routine quality audits and report findings to leadership.
• Document CAPA investigations and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration docs, and quality system docs.
• Support Lean initiatives, 5S, and waste reduction activities.
• Collaborate with production to address quality concerns and drive improvements.
• Assist with new product introductions and process validations.
• Travel for customer visits and supplier audits as needed.
