Job summary

Prysmian in McKinney, TX seeks a senior Quality Manager to lead aluminum and copper building wire quality operations, ensuring product conformance and ISO 9001 compliance. As part of the North America team, you will guide audits, drive continuous improvement, mentor technicians, and coordinate with customers and HQ to meet quality goals.

This role requires 5+ years in manufacturing quality leadership and a technical degree; wire and cable industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing in a manufacturing facility.
Strong preference for candidates with mechanical engineering and / or metallurgy background.
Ability to understand the technical needs of customers and communicate.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of quality technicians on the floor with coaching and guidance.
Ensure all products conform to Prysmian and customer specifications.
Develop and implement quality control standards, processes, and controls.
Direct the implementation and maintenance of the Quality System (ISO 9001).
Lead quality process audits and drive continuous improvement and CAPA.
Interact with customers and North America HQ on product quality and service matters.
