Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in Quality Management, and of managing a quality team.
• Thorough technical understanding of quality measurement techniques and associated equipment.
• Has command of proper Six Sigma methodology.
• Computer skills for data analysis, graphs, reports and charts.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a plant-level quality management system, including quality manuals and auditing of practices.
• Lead design of experiments with Manufacturing and R&D to improve processes and establish centerlines.
• Drive plant standards, procedures, and program plans to ensure product quality and supplier quality.
• Manage quality performance measurement systems and implement continuous quality improvement.
• Provide training on quality assurance and SQF/HACCP topics to staff.
• Plan and coordinate work, train and evaluate Quality employees, ensure safe operation of testing equipment.
• Manage budgets and department goals.
• Track and lead plant initiatives related to quality and customer complaints.
• Manage SQF, HACCP, and other programs and audits, including records and external/regulatory audits.
• Interface with Production and Development to ensure product supply and support new product introductions.
