Job summary

Mastronardi Produce USA, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure product quality in the warehouse and support the QC team. You will verify correct allocation, packing, and shipment while documenting non-conformities and communicating trends to the QC group.

The role requires reading measuring tools, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months related experience or 1 year of college completed.
• Produce quality inspection experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with JDA or NAV preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to read rulers, scales, and calipers.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet or exceed customer quality specifications.
• Verify correct product allocation, picking, labeling, packaging, and shipment.
• Support and oversee Quality Control Inspectors throughout the warehouse.
• Identify, document, communicate, and correct non-conforming product.
• Monitor customer rejections and quality trends and communicate findings to the QC team.
• Work between production and shipping areas to assist with inspections and quality concerns.
• Report significant quality issues to the Director of Operations.
• Send quality issue notifications regarding non-compliant products.
• Help maintain high presentation and packaging standards.
• Train and support Quality Control Inspectors.
• Complete additional quality-related projects and assignments as needed.
