Job summary

Bridgewater Interiors II is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to provide QA support and refine production methods within the supplier network. You will analyze data to drive continuous improvements and develop testing, sampling, and training methods to meet standards.

Responsibilities include APQP documentation, PPAP submissions, gauge development, and collaboration with suppliers to resolve manufacturing challenges. Travel to supplier locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, administers and performs the quality function of an engineering and technical nature to ensure product quality and reliability at minimum quality costs.
• Completion and documentation of all phases of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process.
• Prepare and submit all necessary PPAP documentation per AIAG guidelines.
• Develop gauge concepts and procure gauges for specific programs.
• Work with component and tooling/equipment suppliers to improve products and resolve manufacturing problems, with travel to customer or supplier locations as needed.
• Participate in Simultaneous Development Teams (SDTs).
• Participate in internal audits as required.
• Train Quality and Production personnel in Quality requirements relating to specific programs.
• Support the Product Introduction Process through all phases of prototype fabrication and delivery.
