Job summary

Omya seeks a Quality & Laboratory Specialist based at the USAZ production facility to support laboratory operations, product quality, and the quality system. The role combines hands-on testing with coordinating laboratory processes to ensure product specifications and regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant science field; alternative combos may be considered.
• 3–5 years of laboratory, quality control, or QA experience in regulated industries.
• Experience with quality systems, documentation control, and analytical testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Support production with timely and accurate testing and reporting of results.
• Maintain laboratory records and ensure data integrity and traceability.
• Assist with batch release activities and related documentation.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.
• Coordinate and support calibration, PM programs and waste management.
