Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Quality Laboratory Chemist I to join our manufacturing QC team. This role focuses on routine testing and ensuring product quality in a regulated environment.

The candidate will perform raw material, release, and stability testing, support production, and assist investigations, with hands-on HPLC work and a solid chemistry background.

Job description

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Quality Laboratory Chemist I.

Pay Range:$70K - $75K per annum with benefits. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Position Overview

This is not a research (R&D) role. It is a Quality Control (QC) Laboratory position supporting a manufacturing environment.

The QC Lab is responsible for:

• Raw material testing
• Product release testing
• Stability testing
• Production support
• Laboratory investigations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry

Strong foundation in chemistry

Hands-on experience with HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, such as:
• Pharmaceutical
• Medical Device
• Food & Beverage

Laboratory Instrumentation

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

• HPLC *(approximately 85% of the daily work)*
• GC (Gas Chromatography)
• ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma)
• Wet Chemistry techniques
