Job summary

Verista seeks a Lab Technician to join the US QC team in Indiana. You will develop knowledge of regulations, provide QC support, and help implement quality systems. You will train staff on equipment, oversee test setup and maintenance, and collaborate with Contract Manufacturers on batch release testing.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in regulated environments, strong problem solving, and excellent English communication. The role features competitive pay and growth in a life sciences setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in regulated industry with knowledge of quality systems.
• Strong English communication, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated with good self-management.
• Able to work in team and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and requirements.
• Provide QC support for the QC laboratory.
• Implement, maintain, and/or enhance quality systems within QC laboratory.
• Author, maintain, and instruct on on-the-job courses for lab equipment, testing inspection, and lab operations.
• Perform and oversee QC laboratory equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Build and maintain relationships with functions and Contract Manufacturers supporting batch release testing.
• Participate in product design and pre-launch projects to support lab ops and device testing.
• Maintain laboratory inventory management.
• Assist in equipment qualification testing activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Support shipping and receiving activities as assigned.
• Create/Edit lot release workshops as needed.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and documentation.
• Participate in regulatory inspections.
