Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills: accounting software, inventory software, and MS Office.
• Hands-on experience with analytical equipment such as balances, mechanical test equipment and chromatography is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and control charting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control checks on laboratory instruments and equipment and identifies mechanical issues.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and troubleshoots malfunctions as needed.
• Records test results in spreadsheets and designated forms.
• Maintains all testing records in the lab information system and ensures traceability.
