Job summary

Bostik in Illinois is seeking a Lab Technician to perform quality testing on raw materials, intermediates and final products, using analytical methods and instrumentation. You will maintain equipment, manage lab data in iLIMS and SAP, and participate in HES activities and safety programs.

The role requires a BS degree or equivalent lab experience, good English communication, and ability to work rotating shifts with attention to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts or other hours as required.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office programs.
• Working knowledge of SPC/SQC.

Responsibilities

• Daily Lab Operations: perform analytical procedures and interpret results.
• Routine quality control and process control testing.
• Participate in special projects and training.
• Perform adhesives performance testing and hazardous waste handling.
• Maintain reagents inventory and data in iLIMS and SAP.
• Ensure equipment calibration and basic maintenance.
