Job summary

H.B. Fuller in Fridley, MN is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform accurate testing of raw materials, bulk batches, and finished goods, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

The role features 12-hour day shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule and a pay rate of $26.00/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential for off-hours. Responsibilities include performing chemical, physical, and visual tests, documenting results in SAP, and maintaining QC records and equipment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Quality Control, laboratory testing, or technical support.
• Strong hands-on technical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and adhere to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and wear PPE.
• Participate in general housekeeping in plant and lab areas.
• Comply with company policies and quality standards.
• Perform chemical, physical, and visual testing of materials and products.
• Determine material adjustments to meet specifications.
• Enter testing results into SAP and document outcomes.
• Perform Usage Decisions in SAP for raw materials and batches.
• Collect and store retain samples as required.
• Investigate non-conformances and support customer complaint investigations.
• Maintain lab equipment and inventory to ensure QC continuity.
• Prepare testing reagents and equipment for scheduled batches.
• Provide QC labels (Acceptable, Rejected, On Hold).
• Complete and file required QC documentation promptly.
