Job summary

NexPoint is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform routine quality testing and reporting for process units. You will handle hazardous materials, ensure compliance with lab policies, and enter data into Lab Data systems including SAP.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, chemistry coursework, and 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience. ISO/RC14001 knowledge is preferred, with strong attention to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• High school or college level courses in Chemistry and Algebra required; transcripts may be requested.
• Chemistry degree preferred.
• Three years of relevant manufacturing experience; lab experience preferred (Quality Assurance or Operator Lab).
• Windows-based software knowledge (Word, Excel, Data Systems) and instrument software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality testing and reporting for process units.
• Handle, store, dispose of HAZMAT/RCRA materials per SOP and environmental regs.
• Label samples per SOP; assist/train Lab Technicians.
• Interpret validity of results and provide timely data to operations.
• Participate in resin reactor, brine membrane, and brine scrubber tests.
