Job summary

Actalent in Fond Du Lac, WI is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to support product and environmental quality monitoring through lab testing and data reporting. The role requires GMP/HACCP understanding and the ability to work in a fast-paced plant lab environment.

The technician will perform routine maintenance, prepare samples, and communicate results to plant and corporate management while following GMPs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting laboratory tests and interpreting results in a quality-focused environment.
• Ability to perform laboratory computations and accurately report data.
• Familiarity with GMP and quality control procedures.
• Knowledge of basic chemistry, biology, microbiology, and wet chemistry techniques.
• Ability to read GMP manuals and HACCP programs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Capable of data entry and following written/oral instructions precisely.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to a clean, compliant lab.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret laboratory tests to support quality monitoring.
• Package and prepare samples for shipment to third-party testing locations.
• Respond to inquiries and provide clear technical information about results.
• Enter results into the computer system and perform calculations.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain testing accuracy and reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
