Press Glass Inc. seeks a Quality Lab Operator to conduct tests on raw materials and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. You will perform sealing, desiccant, and spacer bar tests, record results, and calibrate tools as part of daily responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to communicate changes to production. Schedule is M-F with day shifts, and the company offers entry-level stability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; additional education is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Good written communication skills.
• Good math skills (adding, multiplying, dividing).
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Metric measurement reading and understanding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mixing Control of Sealing Test and record results.
• Check temperature and document readings.
• Assess quality of the sealing mass by visual inspection.
• Weigh and compare silicone weight to standards.
• Run Butyl Replacement and Quality Reports and enter data.
• Calibrate measurement tools and complete electronic reports.
