Job summary

HP Hood, a leading U.S. food and beverage manufacturer, is seeking a QA/Lab Technician to plan and perform quality testing on raw ingredients, in-process materials and finished products.

The role ensures materials meet HP Hood quality standards, calibrates instruments, maintains records, and trains QA technicians to uphold regulatory and internal specifications. Salary ranges are provided and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science preferred; Associates of Science and/or 75+ credit hours towards a BS required.
• Must have at least one year in current role or manager approval.
• No active corrective actions on file.

Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules testing activities for raw ingredients, finished products and processing materials.
• Maintains calibration records for thermometers, pipettes and scales.
• Trains Quality technicians and ensures testing adherence to specs.
• Maintains lot records and ensures proper documentation.
