Colas Solutions, the laboratory and consulting services arm of Colas USA, is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The lab technician will perform testing of asphalt and related materials, support production terminals, and ensure timely, accurate results while maintaining equipment and records.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and consistency in following standardized test methods.
• Effective communication with lab, plant, paving crews, inspectors, and management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet production-driven timelines.
• Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude in fast-paced environments.
• Frequent standing and walking on concrete floors; lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely receipt of samples from production facilities and run standardized tests per ASTM and report to client facilities.
