Job summary

Sazerac Company in Bardstown, KY is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform analytical and sensory testing, monitor production quality, and provide real-time feedback to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

You will work closely with Production and Quality teams to investigate issues, improve processes, and maintain laboratory systems across 24/7 operations; an Associate degree is required and familiarity with GMP/ISO standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science or related field.
• Ability to work a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including varied shifts.
• Proficient with laboratory methods and quality testing.
• Strong data analysis and documentation skills using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical and sensory testing of raw materials and products.
• Perform GMP compliance checks and quality audits.
• Investigate issues via root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, SOPs, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams on improvements.
