Job summary

Constantia Flexibles in Kentucky seeks a Quality Inspector to monitor product quality and assist the production team in ensuring timely, compliant shipments.

You will perform final inspections, release products, manage HOLD dispositions, and maintain accurate customer documentation to support quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or related experience with assigned tasks.
• Strong ability to read and write simple correspondence.
• Willingness to present information in one-on-one or small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality with the production team.
• Perform final inspections and release product for shipment; forward docs to designated personnel.
• Dispositons material on HOLD and manage related paperwork.
• Check equipment operation as prescribed.
• Generate and distribute Quality Lab paperwork for each production order.
• Assist production to improve quality, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Perform inventories of work in process and quarantined material.
• Maintain lab retain files for easy retrieval.
• Perform items listed on Quality Lab Cleaning Checklist.
• Ensure samples are sent to customers as requested.
• Inventory lab supplies and requisition as needed.
• Recommend quality, safety and efficiency improvements.
• Recommend cost reduction opportunities.

• Dispositions material on HOLD.
• Checks equipment operation within the prescribed frequency.
• Generates and distributes Quality Lab paperwork for each production order.
• Assists production team in efforts to improve quality, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Performs inventories of work in process and quarantined material.
• Maintains lab retain files for easy storage and retrieval of files.
• Performs items listed on Quality Lab Cleaning Checklist.
• Ensures that samples are sent to customers as requested.

• Recommends quality, safety and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Recommends cost reduction opportunities.

Your Profile

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
