Job summary

Mayzo Inc. is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to support Quality Control and Technology activities at the Walterboro, SC location.

The role involves analytical testing, maintaining lab instrumentation, and providing technical support for customer and research activities. You will perform testing on raw materials, in-process materials, blends, and finished products, generate COAs, and manage data in the ERP/LIMS system.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree in a chemical or materials science field is required or preferred.
Experience performing analytical testing and interpreting laboratory data in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with ISO quality systems and laboratory documentation is preferred.
Experience using ERP, LIMS or similar laboratory information systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform analytical testing of incoming raw materials, in-process materials, blends, and finished products to verify specifications.
Generate, review, and maintain Certificates of Analysis and laboratory documentation.
Enter, review, and maintain analytical data within the ERP/LIMS system.
Coordinate release of acceptable production lots and support batch verification.
Coordinate submission of samples to external laboratories and track outsourced testing.
