Job summary

Mars is seeking a Site Laboratory Coordinator to lead production teams in accuracy and adherence to Quality and Food Safety systems. You will oversee sampling, testing, labeling and recording results for raw materials, intermediates and finished products, ensuring GLP and cGMP compliance throughout the lab operations.

You’ll supervise lab activities, train staff, manage CAPAs, participate in proficiency testing, and coordinate external labs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in QC lab or GMP manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge and understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and Quality Management Systems.
• 1–3 years of experience in a quality laboratory function.

Responsibilities

• Lead site lab technicians performing physical and chemical tests.
• Interpret analytical method procedures and safety instructions.
• Maintain records of analytical testing and quality control documentation.
