Exciting opportunity to join the site R&D team in Lewisburg, OH within the Quality & Food Safety Function as the Lab Management Lead. The purpose of the role is to lead a team of lab technicians and implement effective laboratory management processes to ensure efficient delivery of services that comply with quality control and compliance.

What are we looking for?

• Food science, Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent BSc. MSc degree is preferred.
• Experience of quality assurance or lab management from Food/Nutritional/Pharmaceutical or related manufacturing/testing sites.
• Experience in analytical or microbiology testing, knowledge and experience of GMP, GLP, and audit.
• People management experience.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Establish, follow and continuously improve quality systems in the lab.
• Manage routine activities related to base and finished product tests, incoming raw materials, package material checks, sensory evaluation, etc.
• Manage external lab testing and communicate with GAIT and regional labs.
• Ensure test equipment and test method transfer and validation.
• Implement SOP/GLPs to ensure reliability and compliance to standards.
• Work with the supplier management team to ensure material quality and follow up CAPAs.
• Maintain EHS working conditions and practice in the assigned area.
