Job summary

Actalent in Anoka, MN is seeking a Manufacturing & Quality Lead for a contract-to-hire, onsite role. You will direct quality lab operations, manage CMM schedules, mentor technicians, and drive continuous improvement in dimensional inspection.

Qualifications

Must have experience with CMMs.
Experience in a manufacturing quality lab.
Ability to troubleshoot measurement equipment and coordinate repairs.
Ability to research and evaluate new measurement technologies.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily quality lab operations and manage the CMM schedule.
Supervise lab technicians and staff, assigning tasks and coaching.
Train staff on measurement techniques, software use, and safety.
Ensure documentation of lab processes and results per requirements.
Oversee lab operations including workflow planning and inspection prioritization.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
Manage lab supplies and evaluate equipment and suppliers.
Maintain measuring software, licenses, and updates.
Investigate nonconformances and provide technical guidance.
Oversee CMM operations for dimensional accuracy.
