Job summary

HIROTEC America in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Quality Iteration Project Manager to lead designated quality iteration projects and drive tooling concepts and fixtures to meet quality objectives.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree or 7+ years of BIW tooling experience, reads engineering drawings, and demonstrates CAD proficiency with Catia/UG/AutoCAD, plus MS Office skills. Travel may be required as part of global projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and/or 7+ years related BIW tooling experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BIW system knowledge.
• Strong CAD skills (Catia/UG/AutoCAD) and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall direction and output of designated quality iteration projects.
• Evaluate GD&T, tooling concepts/design to meet quality objectives; assess fixtures and die modifications.
• Serve as primary contact with the customer to gather information on panel/tooling issues and communicate with internal departments.
• Review financial status of projects and control expenditures with the project team.
