Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery is seeking a Quality Intern to support the Quality Department across our last-mile vehicle programs. You will help maintain documentation, participate in audits, and collaborate with manufacturing and supplier teams to correct and prevent quality issues.

This internship targets a student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations Management or related field. A 3.0 GPA and completion of sophomore year are required, with opportunities to gain hands-on

Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations Management/Business Administration, or a related field for entire duration of internship.
• Completed at least Sophomore year coursework (or equivalent)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, professional working relationship with all customers.
• Support Quality Department Staff.
• Review and update quality documentation.
• Participate in group and team meetings.
• Communicate with internal teams to correct and prevent quality issues.
• Assist in problem solving and implementing solutions to quality related problems.
• Assist staff with the disposition of defective material.
• Participate in quality audits internally and externally.
• Assist in supplier quality and process control.
• Report and respond to quality process nonconformance issues in an expedient manner.
• Work inter-functionally with Quality and Manufacturing to resolve quality related issues.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations Management/Business Administration, or related field

Sophomore year coursework completed

GPA 3.0 or above
